Our Christmas feast! ^^

Last post of the year!! but we're still in the Christmas mood... keke.

When we think Christmas Eve dinner, what will come to your mind? Turkey? Yes! Roasted turkey on a long table and getting the most senior to do the honours of cutting the turkey. 

As both Ren and I can't possibly finish a roasted turkey by ourselves, we decided to bumb into KFC to get the feel of Christmas turkey! Like how most Japanese would too.. KFC wants you to eat them for Xmas. xD

And we have got Saber Lion with us. She will do the honours of making the first bite!

It's Christmas! This is the season to be joyful!

Hello people! 

It's Ren and Tako here! 

This is going to be our combined post once again! 

All for the celebration for Christmas! The season filled with thanksgiving, love and joy! 

The time when we want to shout out to all our family and loved ones "thank you for being with me despite the trouble that I may have given!" "I love all the times spent together!" "it's a joy to have all of you by my side!"

I grew up from a little girl who is always excited about Christmas! It's time when all my loved ones will be around me. Fussing over Christmas presents, decorating the Christmas tree at home, putting up all the Christmas lightings, thinking of which dress to put on for the day itself, and drooling over all the presents that are stacking up under our Christmas tree! 

Now, I still love Christmas! For all the great reasons above! But most importantly to the root of Christmas and the joy of spending time together!!

Oh! Ren has even done up his version of Christmas Jingle for this Christmas and we are very excited in sharing with all of you out there! You can really sing it to the tune of 12 days of Christmas!

I can't believe that it has been nearly 2 months that i haven been posting anything abt my Gundams! finally, i've settled down and started shooting this kit. i've actually finished this kit before i started my studying regime. and now im happy and excited that i've completed the first 4 Gundams of Gundam 00 series. yay! maybe a family photo shoot soon! =) need to build finish their action base first. XD

Alrites, please enjoy the photos and i'll have a short summary of how i felt for this kit at the end of this post. ^^ as usual, no stickies were used making this kit. =D

Trans-Cool Tokyo - Contemporary Japanese Art.

Hi, ren's back.. A few days back right after my JLPT N4 exams, i dropped by the Singapore Art Museum(SAM) @ Q8 for this exhibition.. since its jus a few blocks away from where my paper was held. i really like the art works there, though i'm not a really artsy fartsy person.

For those who's overseas or too busy in Singapore, i'll share with you guys wad i've seen there! =D the exhibition will be held till 13 Feb 2011, so there's still lotsa time! maybe i'll suggest going there during a weekday, when there's not too much crowd to distract you from 'communicating with your inner self'. XD Jokes aside, it's really worth the trip.. to see how modern Japanese artist works.. admission is free too! All works in the photos here are accredited to the artists and not mine. =)

Anime Festival Asia 2010 AFAX Part 5: Cosplayers around AFAX

Alrights, now that my JLPT is over, im back to finish my AFAX post! today's post will be on the cosplayers tt i've spotted on SUNDAY. Fortunately for me, i heard that saturday's cosplayers had very little space to pose as there was an event held at the usual empty floor. So im glad tt i only went on sunday!

This post will be more of a photo dump, cos there's simply too many photos for me to comment on... but i'll tell you smthing, the cosplayers are getting better and better each year! ^^ enjoy the custumes!

Hallo everyone.. ren here! a short update! finally, my exams are over.. and its time to focus on smthing else now! my hands have been itching for some gunpla.. which apparently is missing from our blog for quite some time now... BUT before that, while Tako is away, i'll clean up my room first, to rid myself of any traces of japanese homework.. and all the dust on my figures.. XD thus, i've tasked Kyouka to get some cleaning done! poor danbos.. lolx.

Anime Festival Asia 2010 AFAX Part 4: Regional Cosplay Championship '10

Hi, people! Ren here. Sorry for the delay in posting AFAX stuff.. had 2 mock papers for JLPT last week and the real deal is this coming sunday.. hafta pull my socks a lil.. XD Anyway, today's post will be on the Regional Cosplay Championship 2010 held at AFAX! As usual, i'm super far away from the actual stage. Altogether with low lights, action movements, i'll have many blurred photos.. pls bear with it. OTL If you're can't stand the blurred photos, the results are at the end of the post. XD The competition is judged by a few cosplayers.. Namely, special guests from Japan, Kaname & Aira, Philippines' Alodia and Singapore's Clyde. Let's start with the contestants!
