When Ren told me that there's a package for me that had arrived, I was excited. Wondering what can that be? Cannot be Aisaka Taiga, since he had openly told me that it had arrived a few days back..


He casually pointed to a corner in the room..

I dug up some ancient items..

I have been forced to pack my room, I mean, a major overhaul.

This means that I have to remove every single item in my room to make space for the new furniture to be moved in. This is a nightmare.

Contrary to Ren, I don’t really like to pack my room. I live in a messy place. I thrive in mess. Hahaha. This sound horrible, but it’s more of a case where I have been staying in my room for decades and things pile up throughout the years and I mean a lot of things, since a kid till now!

So as I pour through my stuff, with Tako’s mom nagging hard in the background, I had discovered some “ancient” items.

It's time for Christmas! Merry Christmas! メリークリスマス!!

Tis is the season to be jolly,
la-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!

And it is the time show our love and appreciation to our love ones by exchanging little gifts specially hand-picked.

Ren and I never fail to find ourselves scratching our head just to think of the perfect present for each other.

At this very moment, Ren muttered to himself, "It is a million dollar question, if anyone is able to tell me what is the perfect present for Tako, he will give a million dollars to that person.."

Ren and I have decided. This year, we will not buy each other any present. Ha.

Though we are not exchanging presents, our lovely treasures are all ready to have their own gift exchanges this very Christmas.

... HARU-CHOOOOooooo!!!~ *wipes*

Hello people!

Am back in Singapore for a month but what had happened to me?

As usual, sick. LOL

Caught a bad flu that led to bad inflammation and now, coughing my lungs out.

When Bearguy meets Bear Bear..

In Year 2009, Ren stitched me a bear called “Kumo” 100% hand-sewn.
In Year 2010, Ren bought me a bear called “BearBear” 100% manufactured.
In Year 2011, Ren built me a bear called “Bearguy” 100% hand-built.


But too bad, Kumo cannot be present for the photo-shoot, hence have gotten Bear Bear to be the guest instead.

sweeping off the dust on gunplas and more.. and.. gave in to temptation.

And leaves a print on the thick layer of grim & dirt on Ren’s table.. sigh.. looks like there’s still lots of hardwork to be needed to clean up Ren’s place..

In the midst of all the cleaning and dusting, Ren decided to take a break off and we had a slow stroll along Orchard Road few days back. It’s the GSS now, so there’s quite a fair of good deals to catch. But the ONLY ONE that caught Ren’s attention was Toys R Us sales, pick up a Mega size Zaku at S$99.95 and promotion ends 27 June 2011.

I love this anime. It is a very personal thing as it tugged my heart strings whenever i watch and re-watch..

I have to admit that I was skeptical at first but was hooked to the anime by the 2nd episode, glued to the screen as the whole story unravels.

I like all the characters in the anime but exceptional for both Taiga and Ryuji (for my personal reasons). vv('o')vv

So when I started collecting Nendoroids, what is the first thought that came to my mind?

I NEED to have a Taiga Nendoroid, and a Ryuji Nendoroid too!

After researching, to my disappointment, nopes! There aren’t no nendoroids for Toradora.

But there is a Nendoroid Petite of Taiga in her super cute bunned up hair!!

And I got all hyped up, and to my disappointment again, it comes as a gift for ToraDora! game for the PSP and by the time I entered the world of nendoroids, it was long after this free-gift event in mid of Yr 2009.

So I told myself, “Okay, face it, Tako. You can’t own everything you wanted. There is always some regrets when it comes to being a collector..”

And I was fine up till.. ONE DAY!

0Hi people! I know! Both Ren and I seemed to have disappeared for a little while. And it's because of me - falling sick. Really quite sick that I was stuck in bed for a while. Ren spent all his time worrying for me too.

 So was I sick from all the rush and stress?

I guess so!

I just fell sick and got glued to my bed.

So somehow.. This little blog got a little neglected with a thin layer of dust.

Last post of the year!! but we're still in the Christmas mood... keke.

When we think Christmas Eve dinner, what will come to your mind? Turkey? Yes! Roasted turkey on a long table and getting the most senior to do the honours of cutting the turkey. 

As both Ren and I can't possibly finish a roasted turkey by ourselves, we decided to bumb into KFC to get the feel of Christmas turkey! Like how most Japanese would too.. KFC wants you to eat them for Xmas. xD

And we have got Saber Lion with us. She will do the honours of making the first bite!

It's Christmas! This is the season to be joyful!

Hello people! 

It's Ren and Tako here! 

This is going to be our combined post once again! 

All for the celebration for Christmas! The season filled with thanksgiving, love and joy! 

The time when we want to shout out to all our family and loved ones "thank you for being with me despite the trouble that I may have given!" "I love all the times spent together!" "it's a joy to have all of you by my side!"

I grew up from a little girl who is always excited about Christmas! It's time when all my loved ones will be around me. Fussing over Christmas presents, decorating the Christmas tree at home, putting up all the Christmas lightings, thinking of which dress to put on for the day itself, and drooling over all the presents that are stacking up under our Christmas tree! 

Now, I still love Christmas! For all the great reasons above! But most importantly to the root of Christmas and the joy of spending time together!!

Oh! Ren has even done up his version of Christmas Jingle for this Christmas and we are very excited in sharing with all of you out there! You can really sing it to the tune of 12 days of Christmas!

Hallo everyone.. ren here! a short update! finally, my exams are over.. and its time to focus on smthing else now! my hands have been itching for some gunpla.. which apparently is missing from our blog for quite some time now... BUT before that, while Tako is away, i'll clean up my room first, to rid myself of any traces of japanese homework.. and all the dust on my figures.. XD thus, i've tasked Kyouka to get some cleaning done! poor danbos.. lolx.

Heritage tour to Malaysia

Why is it a heritage tour back to Malaysia?

Well, it is a long long story since my paternal granddad days.. My paternal granddad was a primary school principal in a village in Malaysia when my dad is still a toddler. SO lots of my dad's friends were in Malaysia, while my dad came back to serve his NS. So you can imagine, the heart-break he felt when he had to leave his friends. So this is a TOUR back to Malaysia to FIND all the old friends.

Next, it's going to sound silly. This is what one will get if there are 2 bloggers on one blog. As I, Tako, is typing on this post, I am bickering with Ren too. We had decided that a little cake for this celebration is a MUST! But, well,.. just this afternoon, I thought that, nahhh, we won't need a cake. ( I am trying to keep myself slim for a dinner party, shhhh.. don't tell Ren) But Ren thought that we should have one however he gave in. BUT now, here we are bickering about the CAKE. But well no worries, it's friendly bickering, happens all the time. LOL. 

BUT as we are all trained that there must always be a PLAN B! So here's what we decided on after a round of friendly BICKERING. 

BUT NO CANDLES????!! WHAT?! Now what? Ren felt helpless and Tako is laughing her head off.

 Tachikomas: Come on guys! We cannot allow Ren & Tako to bicker non-stop on this important day! We can definitely come up with something to help them. *brainstorming session*

If you guys had heard about my fellow friend called Paul who resides in Germany, he's the reason.

This world cup has changed my life. With referees changing the destiny(s) of countries to having 'Octopus Oracle'!!!

Has any one of you been catching up with the ongoings? Well, both Ren and Tako are.

Ren – The rational football fan of selective countries.

Tako – The emotional football fan of the same countries.

At times, Ren cannot really understand BUT still have to endure my complaints during certain matches. Ren has to cajole me like a child, otherwise I can go on and on and on and on and on.. about the Referee to the players. I am really a VERY emotional & naggy football fan. LOL.

I can repeat “oh my goodness” no less than 10 times in like one sentence and “oh man!” of varying tones up to any maximum limit possible.

Due to lack of sleep, very disappointing moments, & work, Tako’s temper has not been really good and is having a really bad flu now. As for Ren, he's not too well too. Got to drink more water.

How can Tako not talk about the soccer that Japanese are playing? How can Tako not applaud the Blue Samarais who have come so far? How can Tako not cry with them at PSO? How can Tako not be crushed?

This post is unique from the rest. I have started on this post since Japanese team started their World Cup expedition. So you will notice changes in the mood with different matches. And it is going to be a long post.

When Tako gets jealous..

Ren has been very busy, and what was he busy with?? His personal assistant, Tako, is here to tell you the details. OR you may call it a COMPLAIN. (Hahaha..)

First, Ren was busy with army work. Then he was still doing the room renovation in between his army breaks. Then in between his room renovation breaks, he was busy with Unicorn. AND in between his Unicorn breaks, he was busy with a HG 1/144 O Gundam.

So tell me, is he busy?

I have seen his table filled with Unicorn parts and he was telling me how stressful it was to build Unicorn, so a filler for his Gunpla projects – O Gundam.
