HG GN-001 Gundam Exia W.I.S.P Part 2 =D GN Dagger!!

Short update on my HG exia now.. i noe some of you have been waiting for smthing related to gunpla. lolx.. my apologies.. december has been a real busy time for me.. weddings, bdays and xmas.. so gunpla has to be placed aside.. okays.. i've been working on exia whenever im free these feel days.. and so far.. im contented with the progress im making..

After sanding the ugly nubs with 600, 1000 grit paper, i'll move on to using COMPOUND!! wooo.. pls take note that its COARSE. For beginners like me who have never used compound before, i suggest that you practice on those runners' labels like how you'll prepare the surface.. and polish the surface after with compound. as see if you liked that finish on your gundam instead of regretting lata. =) i found out that jus by using coarse compound, it's enough to get the sanded area back to the same smoothness as it originally was. if you continue on with the FINE compound, you'll get a slightly reflective surface alr.

well well... its this time of the year again.. Tako's birthday! her prezzie? losing some hair, i'm really running out of ideas alr.. OTL so i've decided to D.I.Y smthing for tako.. putting aside gunpla.. (tt's why i've disappeared for a few days, sorry abt tt.) i was busy with this little fella. To give her a surprise, i couldn't post anything abt it till i've given it to Tako. now, since its introduced to you by tako alr, instead of a W.I.P.. i've put everything together in this post.. =) this is my first time sewing smthing.. kinda excited but i've no idea wad i'm getting myself into.. (smthing like love isn't it?) so i hope it doesn't turn out too bad.. uGly bEar, for chubbybots? XD

Strawberry shortcake!! :3

Hey people!! I've jus gobbled down this cake that Ren bought.
Something like a post-birthday cake.. heh. Ok.. What's so great
abt this cake, it's from a Japanese patisserie called Glacé. I've
fallen head over (high) heels over strawberry shortcakes ever
since I had it in Tokyo.. And this is one of those few shortcakes
that came close to the feeling I've had in Japan. :3

Wait! Let me introduce you to Kumo-kun! He's 100% handcrafted with TLC
(table ladder chair tender loving care) by Ren for my birthday!
Kumo-kun is going to be my little companion from now on!!

HG GN-001 Gundam Exia W.I.S.P Part 1 ^^ itchy fingers!!!

Ren finally got to do some gunpla after like wad..?? close to 2 months..!! yoshhh!!!.. =DDD while im waiting for my furniture and dough to drop from the sky.. i've decided to do some gunpla since my JLPT is over and there's nth else to do for my room other den getting furniture in.. =) my hands are itchy.. not rashes i hope. XD

actually, i've started this kit way back.. jus managed to finished the torso.. before my JLPT preparations.. but placed it in hibernation mode due to JLPT and room reno.. finally, a few days back.. i've finally finished the first part of the W.I.S.P and post this up!.. ^^ its a quick and short post..

I am so so so so soooooo touched today!


My colleagues in my office planned a surprise for me with a yummy birthday cake and presents beyond my imagination.

(erm, it's not my birthday yet, but they decided to celebrate it earlier) Hhahaaa..

My colleague has asked me one week back about nendo, asking me where she can buy one for her younger sister and which character is cute. And, i was feverently helping her with it, loading her with all the websites and shop addresses where she can find the nendo-treasure.


Little did i know that, the nendo-treasure that she has been asking my views on, is actually meant for ME! awwwwwwwww~ ~

when i "teared" open the wrapping, i was like, "OHHHH! oh man, all of you bought this for me, how you know????!"

A walk down Haji Lane... =)

After finishing my room paint job.. i've finally gotten some time to run ard.. today, we went to Haji Lane.. a small little stretch of road, that hides a totally different world in Singapore. in fact, Haji Lane is Singapore's narrowest road! On sundays, this road transforms (que transformer's music) to a designers' haven; Music blasting in the open.. with people setting up flea markets to other selling their own line of fashion.. there's also unique shophouses on both side ranging from turkish bar, carpet shops, ice-cream parlors to fashion boutiques and tattoo parlors.. you can find very unique designs of clothes here or even looking for foreign imports.. from japan etc... ^^

This road has really grown bustling over the years.. with more and more people appreciating local designs more.. it would be something i'll miss if i'm leaving singapore. =) anybody visiting singapore shld at least take a peek at this hidden oasis.. ideal for a relaxing walk and cafes to take a break in when you wanna rest those tired legs. =D

hey pple... ren jus came back from ikea for furniture scouting.. taken photos of the items tt i liked for reference. heh. yups! im finally done with my room painting.. wooo. so exciting. but its alr filled with junks that doesn't belong to me.. >.> im gonna take a photo of an empty room for you readers! =) hope to go shopping before xmas.. but i doubt so.. dough-less. XD

anyway.. before the 'food' that we ate ytd expires... im gonna post abt it! haha.. for those pple staying in singapore.. do give it a try.. its not very ex.. set lunches ranging from ard $12-$20... with main course, soups, drinks and salad! me tako and of cos, yako did enjoyed ourselves there.. western with a touch of japanese.. ^^

Wendy's coming to Singapore?? ^^

Woo.. Jus spotted this advert on my way back from lunch.. Looks like
Wendy's is coming! Well, not that I'm a fastfood junkie but I missed
my chance to eat it when i saw it in Tokyo and Danny jus posted a few
days back on Wendy's pulling out from Japan by the end of this year.
the news was kinda disappointing but i'm glad to be able to have it at
home now, even tho we noe how diff singapore and japan's standards
will differ.. Hmmm.. Shall wait and see! =)

Yups.. Right now me and tako are having our lunch at Ma Maison.. A
Japanese western restuarant with a vintage touch to it.. Look! We
brought Yako-chan along too.. She has made frens with the condiments!
XD Our orders are coming in.. Will post more tonite I hope.. =)

hey pple.. ahhhhh.. its been so long since i've posted.. i see dust on my webpage. lolx. man.. so sorrie tt i din have the time to post anything.. so i tot.. might as well i post something abt my room reno. its a boring post i promise. XD anyway.. thanks for all those pple concerned abt my room reno! =) i wish i got another pair of hands.. haha.

last weekend was robbed away from me by 3 bday parties actually, and a hen's nite.. becos our fren's getting married next week! and tako's invited to the hens' gathering.. long story short... i was ultra busy and cant do anything to my room. now.. i've finally gotten a break and gonna continue painting.. =) YES!! but looks like i better get it done before this weekend... other den my friends wedding, its oso due to my sister coming back from London and i need to move my stuffs back out from her room. >.<

alrites... cutting the post short... i'll post some of the photos of my room's current condition... still have rewiring to dooooo.......
