Ren and I never fail to find ourselves scratching our head just to think of the perfect present for each other.

At this very moment, Ren muttered to himself, "It is a million dollar question, if anyone is able to tell me what is the perfect present for Tako, he will give a million dollars to that person.."

Ren and I have decided. This year, we will not buy each other any present. Ha.

Though we are not exchanging presents, our lovely treasures are all ready to have their own gift exchanges this very Christmas.

Hello everyone!!

Greetings from Cambridge.. It's windy and cold over here.

Being here for about a week plus, made me lost my taste buds. Have been eating eggs bacon ham. I am craving for some home cooked food.

Though I miss tons of stuff back home, am still enjoying myself in UK. So am so sorry that have not made any post.

This photo was taken outside the residences with "Tako's phone" a few days back. Glad that I managed to capture that little bright spot there!

Mega Size Zaku vs Tako (Straight Build) ~~

AFTER A LONG WAIT! This is going to be a GUNPLA post!

BUT!!

It's by me, Tako! Not Ren. (I hope that I won't hear sighs of disappointment)

Listening to both Tsukinari-san’s and Chubbybots-san's advices and encouragement; I had started on “Mega-Size Zaku II vs Tako” battle.



As mentioned before, I am scared of ugly nubs.

When runners are huge, it can be a good thing, but can be equally bad too.

Good is that, I don’t have to hunt for the runners, the pieces are big enough for me to grab and know instantly that I am holding on to the right runner, instead of trying to locate the alphabets and numbers trying to ensure that I am working on the right one and it is easier to cut too!


Bad is that, for beginners like me, the NUBS! They are glaring! So well, Ren assured me that he will help me clean up the nubs. Thanks, Ren!

Here are the results of battle:-

The specs was there to show the mere size of the leg.

pssst: But well, Ren was shocked at my choice, he asked "who uses specs to show the size.."

He said that I could have used a key. I guess so, but it did not pop to my mind when i was snapping this photo.

When Bearguy meets Bear Bear..

In Year 2009, Ren stitched me a bear called “Kumo” 100% hand-sewn.
In Year 2010, Ren bought me a bear called “BearBear” 100% manufactured.
In Year 2011, Ren built me a bear called “Bearguy” 100% hand-built.


But too bad, Kumo cannot be present for the photo-shoot, hence have gotten Bear Bear to be the guest instead.

Hello people.. Live blog from some delinquent who skipped lunch time and  ate some snakes from work.. All for this. Thousand sunny island and guntank. Took train, quick steps to Ngee ann city basement 2.. Shhhhh. Don't tell my boss.. Lol.

And leaves a print on the thick layer of grim & dirt on Ren’s table.. sigh.. looks like there’s still lots of hardwork to be needed to clean up Ren’s place..

In the midst of all the cleaning and dusting, Ren decided to take a break off and we had a slow stroll along Orchard Road few days back. It’s the GSS now, so there’s quite a fair of good deals to catch. But the ONLY ONE that caught Ren’s attention was Toys R Us sales, pick up a Mega size Zaku at S$99.95 and promotion ends 27 June 2011.

I love this anime. It is a very personal thing as it tugged my heart strings whenever i watch and re-watch..

I have to admit that I was skeptical at first but was hooked to the anime by the 2nd episode, glued to the screen as the whole story unravels.

I like all the characters in the anime but exceptional for both Taiga and Ryuji (for my personal reasons). vv('o')vv

So when I started collecting Nendoroids, what is the first thought that came to my mind?

I NEED to have a Taiga Nendoroid, and a Ryuji Nendoroid too!

After researching, to my disappointment, nopes! There aren’t no nendoroids for Toradora.

But there is a Nendoroid Petite of Taiga in her super cute bunned up hair!!

And I got all hyped up, and to my disappointment again, it comes as a gift for ToraDora! game for the PSP and by the time I entered the world of nendoroids, it was long after this free-gift event in mid of Yr 2009.

I miss LunchTime Posts~~

Hello People! Tako's back! 

I miss the excitment of preparing for lunchtime posts!

So I have decided to kidnap nendoroids and smuggle them into my office to do some lunchtime posting. Love it! The fun of changing the faces and poses under the table. Snapping photos in a "hush-hush" manner and the very ugly background. Hah, it is great fun! Now, I have to apologise for using a brown envelope as the base as i am practically running out of white clean nice paper, every one of it is filled with my scribbles..

I brought Kyouka to my workplace to show her around.

Kyouka: Tako, you are doing the right thing in choosing me to accompany you.

0Hi people! I know! Both Ren and I seemed to have disappeared for a little while. And it's because of me - falling sick. Really quite sick that I was stuck in bed for a while. Ren spent all his time worrying for me too.

 So was I sick from all the rush and stress?

I guess so!

I just fell sick and got glued to my bed.

Hello everybody!!!

How many Nendoroids do you have now? And well, how many of them are girls?

Ask me! We have an army of Nendoroids and NONE of them is a boy. Except for three robots - tachikoma. So Ren feels so neglected. Because we are always fussing over our girls but no boys. Something like how a dad may want to have a little boy to play with while mom wants to have a little girl to dress up.

With this in mind, we set out to look for some boy-Nendoroid. We have limited choices but somehow Ren has set his eyes on a pair of Nendoroids and he had been trying to brainwash me subtly.

Ren: "Tako, you love cats right. You know that this xxx Nendoroid set has a black cat. It's quite adorable.."

Tako: "huh? Do you mean that you want to spend $$$ just to get the cat?"

A moment of silence and the conversation ended..

So Ren wasn't successful until recently. He got the chance to show me the actual thing. At AFAX, there was a stall selling them and I encouraged Ren to get it. BUT we didn't manage to get them at AFAX, they got snapped up.

But miraculously somehow someday some-way, I saw these two boxes laying in Ren's wardrobe!

Ren never fails to surprise me with his hunts. If he was living in edo-days, I guess he would fit the bill of a ninja *poof* and I would be some clueless towngirl living a clueless life. Hah!

MG XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero Custom WIP 2! Major bump on the road with decals. zzzz..

It's been a really busy week for me and tako... the new year feeling starts to fade and workload slowly starts to pile up again.. so we din really had time to blog.. nonetheless, its been more than a week since the last post.. so i better make a quick update on my builds.. hallo everyone, ren here. =)

ren working with MG Wing Zero Custom decals from samueldecals....

Received my decals not too long ago.. and i started working on it.. it was my first decal from samueldecal.com, so i din know wad i was getting myself into.. everything was trial and error for me.. you can say that this post is a short review/experience i have with this decals.. As its my first time using such decals, i have encountered a few problems..

(no, there isn't a mistake.. your eyes are not fooling you.. its the master grade ver., not perfect grade. its gonna be awhile for the missing runners to fall from the skies.. XD) 

My first post after new year! yeah.. Tako did her duty for the last 2 weeks by doing most of the posts while i slacked.. xD thank you TAKO! *pat pat* well, wad was i doing? i was busy with... 'some small projects'. keke. will try to show you guys wad i was up to after i've finished everything. halo everyone... ren here. =)

i realised that i cant do kits, do posting, take photos of the kits all at the same time.. its kinda distracting to me, and maybe becos its too much of a hassle cos i move my barang barang(stuffs) alot... like a nomad-gunpla-er. i make my kits everywhere when opportunities arises. my room, sofa, floor, dining table, office, hospital, while waiting for tako. muahahhaa. so everything is packed nicely and ready to move.. having said tt, i'll still try to post every now and then during in between builts to update you guys.. since i've gotten a few feedbacks that you'd like to see wad i do with my kits...

WHICH.... brings me to this post! WIP for MG Wing Gundam Zero Custom... its gonna be a short post with photos and a few comments at the side.. just to guide you along... let's go~! ^^
