Tis is the season to be jolly,

And it is the time show our love and appreciation to our love ones by exchanging little gifts specially hand-picked.

Ren and I never fail to find ourselves scratching our head just to think of the perfect present for each other.

At this very moment, Ren muttered to himself, "It is a million dollar question, if anyone is able to tell me what is the perfect present for Tako, he will give a million dollars to that person.."

Ren and I have decided. This year, we will not buy each other any present. Ha.

Though we are not exchanging presents, our lovely treasures are all ready to have their own gift exchanges this very Christmas.

Caught a bad flu that led to bad inflammation and now, coughing my lungs out.

Hello People! Tako's back! 

I miss the excitment of preparing for lunchtime posts!

So I have decided to kidnap nendoroids and smuggle them into my office to do some lunchtime posting. Love it! The fun of changing the faces and poses under the table. Snapping photos in a "hush-hush" manner and the very ugly background. Hah, it is great fun! Now, I have to apologise for using a brown envelope as the base as i am practically running out of white clean nice paper, every one of it is filled with my scribbles..

I brought Kyouka to my workplace to show her around.

Kyouka: Tako, you are doing the right thing in choosing me to accompany you.

Now is the time for VALENTINES!!!! (weeks ago... hurhur.)

It is the time of the year where pple fall into marketing schemes by many chocolatiers, florists and teddy bear company.. but we don't.

Hello everybody!!!

How many Nendoroids do you have now? And well, how many of them are girls?

Ask me! We have an army of Nendoroids and NONE of them is a boy. Except for three robots - tachikoma. So Ren feels so neglected. Because we are always fussing over our girls but no boys. Something like how a dad may want to have a little boy to play with while mom wants to have a little girl to dress up.

With this in mind, we set out to look for some boy-Nendoroid. We have limited choices but somehow Ren has set his eyes on a pair of Nendoroids and he had been trying to brainwash me subtly.

Ren: "Tako, you love cats right. You know that this xxx Nendoroid set has a black cat. It's quite adorable.."

Tako: "huh? Do you mean that you want to spend $$$ just to get the cat?"

A moment of silence and the conversation ended..

So Ren wasn't successful until recently. He got the chance to show me the actual thing. At AFAX, there was a stall selling them and I encouraged Ren to get it. BUT we didn't manage to get them at AFAX, they got snapped up.

But miraculously somehow someday some-way, I saw these two boxes laying in Ren's wardrobe!

Ren never fails to surprise me with his hunts. If he was living in edo-days, I guess he would fit the bill of a ninja *poof* and I would be some clueless towngirl living a clueless life. Hah!

Our Christmas feast! ^^

Last post of the year!! but we're still in the Christmas mood... keke.

When we think Christmas Eve dinner, what will come to your mind? Turkey? Yes! Roasted turkey on a long table and getting the most senior to do the honours of cutting the turkey. 

As both Ren and I can't possibly finish a roasted turkey by ourselves, we decided to bumb into KFC to get the feel of Christmas turkey! Like how most Japanese would too.. KFC wants you to eat them for Xmas. xD

And we have got Saber Lion with us. She will do the honours of making the first bite!

Tako's going on vacation... so there's a new nanny in the house! T.T

I am going away for a week or two.. So Ren will be home alone. Don't miss me too much eh.. So in the meantime, will I be worried about Ren's well-being? Of course I am! So I am in a frantic search for someone who can take care of Ren. So who came to my mind? 

Midarezaki Kyouka.

She's an apt choice in my mind. 

I love her ears and tail. But too bad her tail can't move. Guess it is an earlier Nendoroid version, hence not much of articulation yet. 

How I got her? It's Ren the hunter again. We bumped into her at AFA X, but we contemplated hesitated and ended up empty handed. But thereafter, I kept mentioning her name and Ren concluded that Tako needs Kyouka by her side.

So whola! Here's Kyouka. Dishing out Kyouka amongst his collection. The next moment I started talking to Kyouka as if she's a living thing. 

Here she is standing in the living room. 

 Tako: Kyouka-sama, can you help to take care of Ren for me while I am away? 

Please please do not bully him okie? Because, the only one who can bully Ren is me, Tako only.

LovePlus Affair ~ Manaka @ Tako's office

I miss Ne-chan. I have not picked her up yet. But Manaka-chan is with me now.

A little background of the many-angled relationship that i have:-

1. Ren + Tako

2. Tako plays ラブプラス (LovePlus) so I have a very close girlfriend called 姉ヶ崎 寧々, Anegasaki Nene and i address her as Ne-chan. We have went through New Year, Valentine's day, school holidays, Natsu-matsuri and Christmas.. and so much more.

3. But there is something that I did not declare to all of you out there.. Erm, I am actually helping my friend with LovePlus to go after 高嶺 愛花, Takane Manaka. Hahahahaa.

CONCLUSION : And so, I am actually dividing my attention between REN, Ne-chan and Manaka-chan.

I am bad, I know.I am sorry.

I am SOOoooooOO SORRY DANBO-KO. I chose Manaka over you. The sad back-view of Danbo-ko still haunts me every night.

Anime Festival Asia 2010 AFAX Part 3: Shops & Activities around AFAX

This stall sells mostly nendoroids and figures.. but those you see in the display cupboards are not for sale.. some of them are quite rare..

Anime Festival Asia 2010 AFAX Part 2: GoodSmile Company

Ren is BACK to bring the 2nd post coverage of AFAX. this time is the figures and merchandises produced by Goodsmile Company, GSC. Figure collectors will have no doubt in the quality that GSC has produced these past few years.. unfortunately the rising Japanese Yen and licensing problem is slow plaguing its distribution across worldwide.

Enough about that, this year's exhibition is different from last's. This year, its the local distributor that's holding the exhibition and not by Mr. Danny Choo, so you wun get to see all the Goodsmile products and the president of GSC, Mr. Akira running ard. But there's still some things to see nonetheless. Let's start! =)

There is a whole lot of reasons why I seem to be down in spirits.. Now it had spread from workplace to some butter-finger issues that i recalled.. I called it - The SWORD Snapping!

Sigh.. Nope nothing wrong with her. Just that... Her sword snapped!! And Tako is the one who snapped it! Using my tentacles, i snapped it!

My heart sank. It sank all the way to 6 feet under.

I was upset. Sorry Saber Lily, I snapped the sword.

Lunch Time Post ~~~

Hello Everyone! Lunch Time Post is back today with Saber Lion!!

Recently, had been really "upset" with work. Nope, I have not done anything wrong at work or anything, it's just a feeling of "upset-ness". There are times when I told Ren that I don't feel like going for work. So I have got Saber Lion to accompany me to work. Yesterday, she was around to root me on, but was too busy with work to share with all of you how sweet she was.

Now, it's time to show our bonding.

Tako: Nahh, no appetite..

Saber Lion: Do you want some doughnut? I know, it's your favourite.

Tako: awww~ no my dear, thank you. i know u need your "doughnut". I will grab a bite soon k.. 

(i won't want to get a scolding from Ren too, for skipping lunch..)

I took a MEGA step and jumped into the wagon of getting iphone 4. Am not really a Tech savvy person, i took some time to get used to blogging actually. I am generally lazy, as all of you know, so Tech-ky stuff seems to kill off a lot of my brain cells, so i tend to swerve away from tech-ky stuff.

She is one month old! And this is a photo shoot specially for my little BRS!

Friends out there, you would have remembered how BRS had helped out during our One Month Anniversary celebration. So this is a photo shoota specially for BRS.

Oh!?? Have i told you how i got BRS into my cuddle? Nope, i think.

Ren presented it to me after a hard day’s work. It was a thursday about a month back. Knocking off from work at 9pm that day, i was mentally drained. I was an empty shell at that point in time.

When Ren reached out into his bag and conjured out little BRS, my eyes lit up! THANK YOU REN!

Next, it's going to sound silly. This is what one will get if there are 2 bloggers on one blog. As I, Tako, is typing on this post, I am bickering with Ren too. We had decided that a little cake for this celebration is a MUST! But, well,.. just this afternoon, I thought that, nahhh, we won't need a cake. ( I am trying to keep myself slim for a dinner party, shhhh.. don't tell Ren) But Ren thought that we should have one however he gave in. BUT now, here we are bickering about the CAKE. But well no worries, it's friendly bickering, happens all the time. LOL. 

BUT as we are all trained that there must always be a PLAN B! So here's what we decided on after a round of friendly BICKERING. 

BUT NO CANDLES????!! WHAT?! Now what? Ren felt helpless and Tako is laughing her head off.

 Tachikomas: Come on guys! We cannot allow Ren & Tako to bicker non-stop on this important day! We can definitely come up with something to help them. *brainstorming session*
